Vasher, I think I've said this before, but man, I like your stuff. Your photos remind me of home. I'm originally from Chilliwack BC (the Fraser Valley, just above the border). I spent the best years of my childhood four wheel driving and hiking in the coast mountains. A lot of what you shoot reminds me of those days. Even the bunny: my best friend when I was really young had bunnies. You bring back memories.

I haven't spent much time north in BC, but it's on my list of stuff to do because this whole area is pretty damn amazing (speaking as a dirty California transplant...). Having to spend most of the week in the office kinda depressing with all the great stuff outside. Luckily a lot of the wildness is right in the backyard. Do you get time to come back and visit sometimes?

Jul 21, 2016 21:48 | #9747 Ok, so I got the 5d and 35 f/2 IS. Coming from 9 years with an XTI, the curve was a little bigger than I imagined. I keep looking at the screen to change my settings, however, it doesn't work! Lol, the buttons on top will take a bit of getting used to. I feel like a massive door just opened. After some brief frustration, I'm quite satisfied with the decision I made. I didn't mention it previously, but I was also looking at a Fuji X-T10. I have a CPL and a couple extra batteries arriving this week, so I'd like to do some landscape/cityscapes. Sorry for all the photos! -Dane

Yeah the controls take a little bit of adjustment, but it becomes second nature soon! 2 6D - 35 f1.4L, 135 f2L, 50 f1.8 STM, 85 f1.8
