Nov 09, 2016 15:32 | #10022 I got hired to do some dog portraits of Jager, an older Border Collie. The weather was pretty gloomy, but I did my best to make the colors pop without going overboard. and my fave:IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/NSBowC 2 6D - 35 f1.4L, 135 f2L, 50 f1.8 STM, 85 f1.8

Nov 09, 2016 16:07 | #10023 This is random, but I have been using two rented 6D's for some event work lately and much prefer the colors that come out of these old magic boxes. Even if I end up getting the 6D's for low light work in the future, I will still keep a 5D or two around. 2 6D - 35 f1.4L, 135 f2L, 50 f1.8 STM, 85 f1.8

Great shots of the dog, btw! ~ Jenn ~

tonylong ...winded More info | Nov 19, 2016 01:47 | #10035 I may (or may not) have posted this shot here, but if so, it was in an early "iteration" of this thread, so... It then began to move along, and I tried to track the bird as it took off and was flying by! And then I got a "keeper"! After a few shots, it had landed a ways up the pond... Anyway, I thought this would be a cool example both of the fact that the 5DC can get critter shots, birds in flight, and can even handle shooting with a TC -- the f/2.8 of the 300mm lens allowed me to get the AF at f/5.6!
