ISO 400 and f8 inside the Sagrada Familia???

When I went I had to shoot at 2.8 and ISO3200 on my old 1D Mark IIN.

The image came out too noisy to be of any use

The ceiling had plenty of light. But other areas were darker, i had to use f4 and a higher ISO. Besides that lens has IS so it helps using a lower speed.
And on that day it was very bright and sunny. On cloudy days it probably is too dark to shoot without a tripod.

actually looking back at my pic, i was at 17mm f4 1/200th iso3200.

Thinking about it, i probably could've used a slower shutter and lowered the ISO.

I'm sure during the 900's that wasn't really a problem. Especially labor costs.

Yeah you could have gone up to 1/16s or 1/25 s.

This is Tijuana (México), a young city (128 years) that was discovered and built in a dessert filled with mountains. From any point in the city you can see a mountain. Here in the photograph you can see the river that connects to the United States, through San Diego, California. The river fills when it rains, in the summer it's almost empty.

This was shot from the Athabasca Glacier, in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. This is my first Flickr Explore photo! Shot with my good old 5D and an EF 24mm f/2.8.

I guess we got a shipment of Canada's wildfire haze. Long evenings of soft red light, good. Air you can taste, bad.

Some corporate-y headshots at work. Trying to have them look professional but also modern/happy. It is easier to get people stay where you want vs. dogs and chickens...
