Dec 25, 2017 09:51 | #10773 Soooo, my camera took a tumble last week, and I think something went wonky with the AF. It went down on a wood floor from probably 5-6', lens first (35mm). Some plastic cracked on the lens, and I assumed that was my issue. I'm finding that on all of my lenses, however, the focus has shifted. I use the center AF point, shoot something wide open, and the wrong part of the photo is in focus. I've tried all of my lenses, and it appears to be the same across the board. I'm trying to figure out what to do. Try to get it repaired, buy another 5d, or try something else (6d?). -Dane

I feel like I should be able to just have it 'tuned up' and calibrated, but it is only a $400 camera at this point (less now, lol). I've seen them for the $250-300 range! But it is the 'best' camera I've used, and maybe a 6D or something would make you go 'wow, the image quality/focusing/etc. is so much better'?

Dec 29, 2017 14:11 | #10781 After a few years away I decided this summer to pick up another DSLR and of course it had to be another 5DC, my third I believe. People don't seem to understand how amazing the camera is still, I'm still stunned by the images it produces and until I feel I can't get the shot I want due to the camera I'm sticking with it. These were all shot with a 5DC and nifty fifty or 24-85, neither of which cost me over $100........paid $250 for 5DC. Dec 31, 2017 21:04 | #10784 It's been awhile since I've played with my 5d classic. I moved to a Sony a6000 awhile ago. Damn I missed this camera. Shot with the 50mm 1.8 mk1.
