Wish me luck, has a corrosion issue. I believe it was dropped into water somewhere in its life. I've fixed these problems before with flashes so this shouldn't be too bad.

Bite the pillow, I'm going in dry :p Not my 5D, but it's good to have mine as a reference.

I wish you luck. I have a T1i that got liquid damage. Sent it in to Canon and they told me it is not practical to fix. Camera would actually work and take a picture, but give an error message. Tag on repair estimate simply said corrosion damage, not feasable to fix it.
