...unless something pops out of the blue. Boy's Semi-State next week, then State. Never shot in this gym before (Connersville, IN), and I have to say with out question the darkest gym I've ever shot at. ISO 10,000, f/2.8 and ss 1/640 shot with 1DIV and 70-200 L II. I new I was in trouble when I got a text from the Sports Editor that said, "good luck, it's dark in here and I don't see any place to mount your strobes."

Best shot of the day is below. Too bad it was not of the team I was paid to cover. LOL

And a couple more:

C&C if you feel it's needed. Unless I get a call for next weekend, looks like it's time to get the IDIII sent in for a cleaning.

I don't know about you, Warren, but I'm ready to get back outside and shoot! I'm sick of dark gyms and natatoriums. I'm taking the downtime in between sports seasons to get my cameras fixed up as well. My Mk IV took a tumble to the concrete up at the girls state swim meet last month and cracked the corner of open. At least the camera still works, but it's no longer weather sealed with the crack in the corner. At least I have insurance and a CPS gold member discount on repairs.

BTW, nice shots under horrible conditions.

Thanks Scott...yeah I'm with ya. Basketball is my favorite sport, but it will be nice to smell some fresh cut grass instead of sweeting teenagers. LOL

Love that first shot. Incredibly clean at 10,000.
