One thing I guess I'm confused about is does it really make a difference if you ordered the body only or the kit? By this I mean is there 2 separate order lists? I would think in order to satisfy the first come first serve there would be one list and if you happened to order the kit then they just grab the lens from the shelf and put it in the shipping box with your camera. Anyone know?

Yes it is a completely different box and all on one.

Wow ... this could be the time to try out FF, as there will be thousands of unwanted Mk IIs hitting the used market.

Price is coming down but still up there. $2200 new for body. As long as you don't do action I am sure it will be close to 5D III in final output.
