A Few More Hungarian/Gray Patridge Shots From The Weekend (6)

I got lucky again and found the same 7 Gray Partidges I photographed a couple of times this Winter,,,this species was introduced in the 18th century for the hunter's gun and has established a small population in Eastern Canada as well as a larger population in SW Canada/ NW USA. Not a bird seen often as they are secretive and like the bush ,,,,pretty much invisible when not out in the open.

As I mentioned in your first set Gary, I have never seen these birds before, but would love the chance... excellent job of finding them again and getting these marvelous shots... they are gorgeous...

Fabulous captures of a rare species, Gary! The white bg really helps the subject stand out. Glad you posted #5. I didn't expect they have such POWERFUL legs.
