He eventually cancelled BOTH pre-orders. ;)

^I just think he can't make up his mind but, I think he'll go with the 5D 3. ;)

The 5D3 is a good camera, from all information I can see. It's really what the 5D2 SHOULDA been in the first place. And its tough to walk away from a large glass investment.

On the other hand, your D800 is gonna be INCREDIBLE!:D

Yeah I saw that......I love all the "tech" sites using moronic logic for their "reviews" and "comparisons". Gizmodo does the same sort of foolishness!

I know right? ;) KC, when posting a pic of your new camera it should not be tilting. :p:lol:

hahahaha

I think Julian is the only one that has actually pre-ordered the D800. The rest so far is rhetoric. And monk3y is cameraless. ;)

hehe I never said I am going to order the D800 though... :p

ohhh most of my camera is fine, I just need the flash to work coz I bought a Macro lens  if I haven't, I would probably just leave the defective flash alone

From what I've seen, it's going to be impressive from an IQ standpoint. Before I drop cash on more glass, I'll use the 14-24, 24-70, and 85 1.4 G for starters. Once I see what it can do, I can plan on what will be next.:wink:

For now I am. It's a camera that's been tried and true for me. I love it's AF and IQ at low ISO. It's hard to let something go that just works right out of the box with no issues. :) Also,I'm kinda skeptical with the IQ and banding at low ISO but, I'm sure it's going to be a great camera too.
