The 5D3 is a good camera, from all information I can see. It's really what the 5D2 SHOULDA been in the first place. And its tough to walk away from a large glass investment.

On the other hand, your D800 is gonna be INCREDIBLE!

ohhh most of my camera is fine, I just need the flash to work coz I bought a Macro lens if I haven't, I would probably just leave the defective flash alone

From what I've seen, it's going to be impressive from an IQ standpoint. Before I drop cash on more glass, I'll use the 14-24, 24-70, and 85 1.4 G for starters. Once I see what it can do, I can plan on what will be next.

For now I am. It's a camera that's been tried and true for me. I love it's AF and IQ at low ISO. It's hard to let something go that just works right out of the box with no issues. Also,I'm kinda skeptical with the IQ and banding at low ISO but, I'm sure it's going to be a great camera too.

Julian...I was able to use the Galaxy Note earlier...a demo at my service provider's outlet. I was there to request a new regular size sim card. its damn awesome!!! I mean I can fully read a whole post here on POTN without having to scroll left and right
