And it cracked? Weird. Not made of magnesium like the Canon ones I take it?

actually the top portion is plastic and its that part that broke, the bottom part that hit the floor are indeed metal (not sure if its magnesium) but since its made of 2 piece glued together, the the 2 piece separated a bit enough to slide a paper on the crack :(

It's a Nikon. His hands rejected it.

Fingers are often smarter than the brain, especially in monkeys.

I gotta agree with ya  maybe my hands are tired of caressing the Sexy Nikon stuff

The class rating is a minimum speed, but many manufacturers exceed the minimum. I personally really like Transcend and Sandisk so I don't think you could go really wrong either way. Do you know the actual transfer speed of either?

Not me... Think I'll probably be sticking with Canon for now.

according to Transcend USA.. Class 10 SDHC is 20mb/s

I guess $10 is a small difference to pay to get class 10...

hahaha... the part that seems to have a problem is the Circuit board for the flash, they say its a bit sensitive so they will wait for their Senior tech to come here at the end of the month to fix it. :p

Well, as I said, the class rating is a MINIMUM. There can be class 4 or class 6 cards that are higher than 20MB/s. It depends on the card.
