according to Transcend USA.. Class 10 SDHC is 20mb/s

I guess $10 is a small difference to pay to get class 10...

According to SanDisk, you should definitely buy a class 10. Their profit margin is greater on a class 10.

Well, as I said, the class rating is a MINIMUM. There can be class 4 or class 6 cards that are higher than 20MB/s. It depends on the card.

ok the difference in price is very small...might as well get the highest class :lol: Thanks

:lol::lol: problem is there's no Sandisk 32gb class 10 available locally :p

Naw, class 10 isn't their highest profit margin. Class 10 is a turtle.

All joking aside, I'd never use 32GB cards. That's a lot of eggs to put in one basket in the event of card loss or failure.

We use 4GB cards exclusively. They hold a decent number of images, and they back up perfectly to a single DVD.

To each his own.

I'd be careful about DVD's (especially cheap ones), they have a limited life time, not great for backups.

I didn't say it was their highest profit margin. I just said it was higher that the others the Monk3y listed.

5D3 uses dual cards. So I got this SD card to go along with their Extreme Pro CF card. Oddly their CF card is only rated at 90MB/s when the SD is rated at 95MB/s.
