Nice shot Danny, you really had some chase opportunities the last week. I saw the cell that spawned the EF4 in granbury but all I had was my cell phone with me. Then I missed the Graham storm, I ran back home for my daughters dance recital. I would have been up at the horse show in Graham during it if I didn't have to go back home.

@Jakefreese, I was actually on a river trip so I missed the DFW outbreak unfortunately. Made it back in time for this beauty though. Wanted to go chase in Oklahoma today but having car issues with my chase mobile

From yesterdays chase west of Possum Kingdom Lake, in North Texas! Beautiful picturesque tornado. Unfortunately a farm house was destroyed, but nobody was injured

Nice pictures. I was under the anvil of the same storm at sunset. Taken from the western edge of Lewisville lake.

Chased the Tornado Warned storm out of Wichita, KS on Sunday. Here is the wall cloud as it came through good thing it didn't produce over the city. Wish I didn't have the lights in there but we were in a hurry outrunning the rear flank downdraft. You can check out my page "Tornado Junkies" on facebook for more photos

To be honest I like the lights man, its nice to have a sense of scale in a lot of these photos as many times its hard to convey just how close, how big and how ominous these storms are.

Nowhere near as nice of storms as you guys have had to photograph (I live in West No Storms Virginia), but here are 5 images from the past week. The wall cloud is from a mini chase that I went on by myself today. Probably a little over 20 miles one way. Those (The wall shots) did have contrast/lighting adjusted to make it 'pop' more. It's hard to balance light and dark clouds at once!
The lightning belonged to a storm probably about 50 miles away. we could see the tops of the towers.
I'm still not sure whether I like the shot with or without the crop.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

Chased Friday, Sunday and Monday. Here is the beginning to Sunday's Shawnee, Oklahoma Tornado

We got REALLY close to it, we were actually in the RFD which was very strong and extremely nerve wracking. Just after it passed us it went over lake Thunderbird.

We drove through the damage path afterwards. Came accross these cars, made sure no one was in them then went on our way. This tornado ultimately ended up killing two older gentlemen unfortunately.

Spectacular Shelf-cloud formation that rolled over south Manitoba last August. As imposing as it was, it never spawned a single tornado.

Awesome shot man. Shelf clouds are really picturesqe but from what I understand indicate an outflow dominant storm which is no bueno for tornados

I have always wanted to get a shot of lightening, but really haven't had the chance. Was really kicking myself last summer as I was at a friends house on a farm
with wide open spaces and storm rolled in way off in the distance. We got to sit outside for a spectacular lightening storm for a few hrs, but i didn't have my camera with me.

This is a pic i took a cpl weeks ago on Hilton Head Island, no lighting, but pretty cool to see the rain coming down over the ocean.
Not as good as half these shots amazing shots here, but wanted to share it.
