Wall Cloud crossing the Chicagoland Speedway a couple years ago...

Sweet shots! And that is a shelf or arcus cloud...quite a bit more photogenic than most wall clouds if you ask me.

Prash23, all of mine were edited in Lightroom, usually with a boost in clarity, de-saturation of color and tweaking highlights, darks etc

None of these are natural. The trick is to get to a good location, shoot with the lens cap on, and then hit the "Make Pretty Picture" filter in Photoshop when back at home.

This was from last summer, the next day there was a death to a young boy from a lightning strike just to the bottom of left of the picture at a scout camp :-(

Ended up with no tornados but definitely had our share of high winds and plenty of precipitation!

Went on a couple local chases last Thursday and Friday. Nothing too severe but got a couple nice photo ops out of it.

Dying wall cloud just after sunset.

IMAGE: http://www.brettnickeson.com/photos/i-987LsCM/0/L/i-987LsCM-L.jpg

Crazy downdraft coming out of a dying supercell. The pattern resembled a corona in an intense northern lights display.

Quite a light show at sunset.

I took this one of a storm passing out at sea a couple years back. I had to rush home to get my camera, so I missed a more impressive shot of it approaching from the right.
