I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

These two shots were taken early Thursday morning. I was woken up by a pretty full on storm with lightning strikes every 10-20 seconds but by the time I had decided to go get some pics, the main part of the storm had passed so I only caught the ass end of it. Cant wait for the next one though!

Great shots guys! Anyone chasing the setup the next couple days? Looks like I'll be heading to Witchita Falls, Texas tomorrow. First chase of the season!

These are from last week:

^ what he said!!!! That is a great capture.

Had a heck of a storm roll through recently, but it was too hard of a wind driven rain to really do any shooting. I did manage a great lightning strike from my back porch. Wish it had been a better image, but I'll take it.

Had a great lightning storm last night. I couldn't resist. Each shot is a stack composed of 3 10 second exposures back to back.

Well executed...very impressive.
Got a question...can you or anyone else...point me to a good tutorial on how to stack. I understand the theory of what you are doing...but not sure I know how to pull it off as good as these.
Thanks
Tony
