Went chasing last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the Kansas outbreak. Things didn't turn out as good as hoped, but we did get several brief tornadoes, one large long-tracked one after dark, and a few decent shots.
Nicely striated rotating updraft in NW Kansas.
HP (high precipitation) supercell in the Wichita Mountains of SW Oklahoma
Little wispy funnel during Saturday's outbreak. Our storm tried hard for several hours but could never put anything significant down...
Another small funnel, this is actually a satellite around the main circulation to the left.
Sorry about the quality on this, it's a frame grab from a video of the first large tornado we saw all day...and unfortunately after dark. We didn't even manage to get any still photos of this due to being slightly behind it and it was moving pretty fast.
