Awesome shots. Anybody get any from the Texas outbreak? I would have been chasing but I am out of the country right now :-/

Went chasing last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the Kansas outbreak. Things didn't turn out as good as hoped, but we did get several brief tornadoes, one large long-tracked one after dark, and a few decent shots.

Nicely striated rotating updraft in NW Kansas.

Little wispy funnel during Saturday's outbreak. Our storm tried hard for several hours but could never put anything significant down...

Another small funnel, this is actually a satellite around the main circulation to the left.

Sorry about the quality on this, it's a frame grab from a video of the first large tornado we saw all day...and unfortunately after dark. We didn't even manage to get any still photos of this due to being slightly behind it and it was moving pretty fast.

I was hoping to see some ok/ks shots. Awesome. I was out of town but my chase partner made it up there and got 5 tornados, including a pair sister twisters. Unfortunately I'm
the photographer out of the duo and all he has is some shaky video footage lol. I was heavily jealous.

Nice thread, I love some mean looking skies. I would love to take a storm chasing trip.
Here is a shot of a storm passing through Atlanta a couple days ago.

Just another day in the greater Phoenix area...

That monster one we had last year was kind of scary. The wall of dust was huge and it blacked out the sky when it passed over. Couldn't see more than about 30 feet. Was kind of funny watching all the guys with the leaf blowers out there after blowing their sidewalks and driveways. It just put the dust back up in the air and it came right back down in about the same place later.
