Off-beat pin up girls

I hate to say they look a bit zombie coloured on my iPad. It almost works for me... I think the OOF foreground knee pose is a bit distracting, like she may be looking at just having delivered Rosemary's baby. The whispering 2nd is also distracting to me being OOF. I dunno, it just looks a bit incongruous - one model smiling telling a coquettish secret, the other looking a little horrified. I like the idea though - maybe include a little more of the background to show them as real life posters?

Thanks for the critique!! The girls knee is a distraction and wish it wasn't in the frame. Also, the composition is tight due to a very small room and no lens to accommodate a wider shot. Appreciate the feedback.
