What is everyone using to find the current milkyway galaxy travel path. If I want to attempt to shoot it, how do I know when it will be overhead or at horizon in my area? Maybe stellarium does it, still learning that program.

stellarium does it, and its a very good tool. you might pay attention to the color settings on your screen. for myself, i like my screen kinda dark, and in these settings, i couldnt see the milky way on the software. i thought i had some problem with it, untill i realised, by changing the settings on the screen, i could see the milky way
