This was a tough one, there are so many good entries to choose from but the first place winner really stood out above the rest. It was harder selecting the second and third place winners. Of course, the judgement and taste is mine.

Let me start with an honorable mention: "Why My DIY Days Ended In 2005" - When I saw teekay's photo, I knew what it was immediately before I even saw the name on the air-intake manifold. I have owned six Subys. Complexity and detail arouses my attention; nice shot teekay.

Third Place: I absolutely hate Audis as I had a bad experience as an owner. But the shot of the wheel and its detail really comes out in monotone. Good shot CyBeRFireBladeRR.

Second Place: "10" - This an interesting but simple photo, but yet there is detail in the reflections of the pole and the flags. I like the deep red color and the clean white contrast. Nice shot Kevan.

First Place: Immediately when I saw this shot I knew it was going to be the winner; nothing came close afterwards. "GMC near Taos NM" - airfrogusmc did a really nice job. I like the detail, color, texture, and subject; all together it makes it a winner. Froggy, if I was you, I would hang it on my wall.

Thanks all for entering the contest and airfrogusmc it is your game now.

Bruce

Congratulations to airfrogusmc and runners up! I sure wouldn't have known how to choose a winner this week - terrific variety and quaility.

Thanks - it was a lazy guy's entry. Rain and snow all week, all cars in town wet, dirty and commonplace, so I just lifted my Subaru's hood looking for a photogenic part, couldn't see one, so just shot the lot.

Nice goin' Allen, and a terrific challenge Bruce. I think my fav was pappawheely's dirt kickin' action shot.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say, I don't recall what make n model my "10" is. I'm a big fan of the close up partial image which requires some thought about attractive composition. Everyone did a terrific job.

Congrats to Allen and the runners up! This subject was not at all interesting to me as I view cars as only a functional need:). But, I made myself participate nonetheless. Thanks for the hosting duties this week, Bruce. You sure got a lot of entries :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Congrats to Allen, and all of the other excellent images!

Kevan, great framing of your image, love the angle and the relevant checkerboard flag reflections!

PINNACLE; Senna, what a driver! If you have not yet, I highly reccomend that you watch the new documentary Senna. It's brilliant, engaging, and fabulously edited (it won the BAFTA award for best editing...and should have nominated for a few Oscars as well).

Great topic bcd01.
