I spent most of the morning in a local marsh. <--- not as big a turn-on as one would think.
Lucky for me it didn't take long until I was greeted by a sure sign of Spring.
This little Song Sparrow spent most of the morning with me.

what a lovely little bird.. we have those here but i have not yet seen one... will have to go back to the wildlife refuge ....

That is a great set, Shawn. Love the fluffed up feathers in the first shot. The other two are simply lovely!

I've only recently discovered a Song Sparrow in my yard Shawn, but I've never seen a pose like the one in your 1st image. WOW! The others are no slouches mind you, but the tail-up pose is fantastic. Go to the swamp more often! :)
