Seen these guys from my blind i have set up by my bird feeders.

The Downy is a fantastic portrait. He must have been sitting on the end of your lens - :)
I always love the "over-the-shoulder" pose that Chickadees seem to give us and yours is a very nice capture. Comparatively, the Cardinal in the grass looks a little busy with a few odds and ends that could be cloned/healed from the image. It is still a very nice capture w/great red color and detail.
