Marie, it took me a while to reply, sorry. I really like this one, but for different reasons, if you look closely, you have focused through the water drop. makes this a great shot.:D :D :D

thank you very much:cool:
I noticed that about the reflections in the water drop
I was real proud of it as I was frozen too
and I had tried for a while to get the drop in focus,

it seemed to take ages at the time
thanks

Very nice Marie, the only thing that bothers me is the noise, but it may be part of your art.

Not the "drop of old stuff" I thought you were talking about! Now a bit of Bushmills, Black Bush, or John Powers would make a interesting subject too, wouldn't they? ;)

Marie, this is a beautiful shot of the plant with blurred BG. Talking about waterdrop, IMHO, you should get closer than this to attract the attention to it.

I agree with you
and often when I was thinking about the shot(usually when out) I said to myself..... I must try a closer crop of it.... to show the drop better

the picture is a bit raggity looking with all the out of focus bits hanging down
still, I liked that, as it says more to me because of the willows or whatever they were
they were unusual in that they don't usually be around where I was at that time

however, will do the other later :)

(it may not be so great , either)

I could not get any closer with the camera
that's where the different lens comes in
but I am/was happy enough with this.... little drop

thanks again
