I really like the looks of their sling pack but can't decide what size I need. Their website is rather vag on what will fit in their bags and the internal dimensions. I'm stuck between 5767 and the 5768. I wanna fit a gripped T1i in with a lens attached and maybe a small spare lens and a flash. Anyone have any experience with these bags?

Thanks

According to Tamrac's website: The 5768 Velocity 8x Pro Sling Pack is slightly smaller than the Velocity 9x, but still accommodates a pro digital SLR with a grip (such as Canon's 5D Mark II or Nikon's D700) and an 8" zoom lens attached.

Internal Dimensions: 9½w x 5½d x 11h (24 x 14 x 28cm)
External Dimensions: 12¼w x 6d x 13½h (31 x 15 x 34cm)

The 5767:

Internal Dimensions: 8½w x 4½d x 10h (22 x 11 x 25cm)
External Dimensions: 11½w x 5½d x 12h (29 x 14 x 30cm)

I have a Velocity 9 and I can fit my 40d w/24-70L attached in the middle and my Tamron 70-200 2.8 on one side and still have room for say another 70-200.

I've got the 8X and it is holding a non-gripped 7D with a 24-70L attached (no hood), 10-22 on one side, 28-135 on the other side, and a 50 below the camera/lens in the center. Speedlight 580 is crammed in the front pocket. Couldn't shoehorn anything else in this bag but it is holding quite a bit.

Thanks for the input guys. Just trying to figure out the smallest sling pack I can get to get my camera and an extra lens or two in and maybe a flash. I think i'm gonna have to go for the 8x then

The 6X would be plenty big for that.
