LevinadeRuijter I'm a bloody goody two-shoes! 22,983 posts Gallery: 457 photos Best ofs: 12 Likes: 15563 Joined Sep 2008 Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands, EU More info | Mar 16, 2012 04:56 | #4 My pick would be the first also as it's a really good image. Although #2 is a very in-flight shot, the horizon is tilted (ripples in the water should be horizontal, not diagonal - water doesn't lie!). If you correct that, then maybe the good in-flight shot becomes a better image. If you know what I mean... Wild Birds of Europe: https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=19371752

But, #1 I like the different angle (not doing architectural photos) and #2 that is actually a level shot. I just barely caught the bird in my perifferal vision over my left shoulder. Spun the camera and snap. He was down below me , farther down the creek. J.Litton wrote in post #14096198 Really like #1 Thanks jodelak wrote in post #14096567 Very nice in flight shot of the heron!
