The first south swell of the season from the famous surf break "WEDGE" down Newport Beach, Ca goes out with a 10 footer. It's not as big as the usual 20-25 footer but this morning is good enough for these local surfers & body boarders.

What a wicked wave and I'm sure it's fun to watch. Tough lighting conditions and looks like the wind was on it but I like the set. Too bad the cold front is moving in quickly and work has been hectic as I would have like to get out and surf.

I have been checking my friend database for someone around 6'8" and 350 lbs that I could use as an assistant to carry my stuff, provide the visual that I have a bodyguard, and serve as a windblock when placed in just the right spot. Hmmmmm.....

Oh, and by the way, if I were to attemp such insanity it would certainly not be a dolphin mirroring my progress but a huge, fast, very hungry shark! LOL

Great work with these, the 1DsMkII helps the 70-200 stand up well with the zoomy lens magnifer thing-a-ma-jig!
