Anyone have experience with the quality of the Vello tripod collars for Canon lenses?

I have a few of the authentic Canon ones but some are just too expensive since every lens requires a different one. Looking for a quality substitute.

Also I see they sell radio sutter controls and other things. Is anyone familiar with their products?

I don't know about this specific third party ring. However, our Canon rings allow us to loosen the knob a but and pull the knob out to a detent setting and loosen the ring itself. Some third party rings do not have that detent setting, you pretty well need to unscrew the knob all the way in order to twist the lens...
