Shooting horizontal fisheye on a quarter pipe comes out reallllly weird. 5Dii Gripped | 7Ne | Canon 50mm f/1.4 | Canon 70-200 f2.8L | Sigma 35mm f1.4 A | Sigma 15mm f2.8 | Canon 430ex II x2 | Cactus v5's

One thing to be weary of is many skate/snow/bmx photogs, especially young ones really rely on the fisheye for getting a composition. Lately I've found ignoring the fisheye and going for something like the 50 in your case will make a huge difference in composition, you force yourself to move around and find what looks best, not just get close and shoot. Maybe try some street spots some time too, makes for better shots generally. Rebel XS - 18-55is - 50 1.8 - Helios 44-2 - Samyang 8mm - Samyang 85mm 1.4 - YN-460-ii x2 - YN-467 - 285HV - Sunpak 120C

Me and my friend are ALL about street skating but I just called a few friends to skate with because I wanted to try out my second flash and I know what youre talking about. I prefer my 50 or 85 way more than the fisheye but it was going to rain so I just threw the 8mm on really quickly. 5Dii Gripped | 7Ne | Canon 50mm f/1.4 | Canon 70-200 f2.8L | Sigma 35mm f1.4 A | Sigma 15mm f2.8 | Canon 430ex II x2 | Cactus v5's

It's hard to get the right angle with skateboarding because you ALWAYS want to see their front. 5Dii Gripped | 7Ne | Canon 50mm f/1.4 | Canon 70-200 f2.8L | Sigma 35mm f1.4 A | Sigma 15mm f2.8 | Canon 430ex II x2 | Cactus v5's
