I understand, I'm not asking for the absolute best lens as that is subjective. I'm just simply asking which lens need the least PP given that they were in the same situation (require the least boost in contrast, saturation, and sharpening - which I presume are the 3 most used).

For example, the 70-200mm F4 IS required a lot less PP than my old 55-250mm since the pictures overall come out a lot more saturated and have more contrast.

Canon 60D | Canon 15-85 IS USM | Sigma 30mm 1.4 HSM | Canon 135mm F2L | Canon 70-200mm F4L IS | Canon 430EX II | Panasonic GF3 | Pansonic 20mm 1.7 | Panasonic 14-42mm OIS

You're asking the wrong question. All you want to ask is, "Which lenses are the sharpest and have the most contrast?" That's objectively measurable, whereas how much post processing someone does is fully subjective regardless of the lenses he uses.

All lenses which have the barrel mounted post processing optimization unit (commonly known as the red ring). The red layer in the ring filters IR rays boosting contrast.

If you can include Zeiss ZE lenses within this thread then I would say having owned a lot of different Canon L lenses over the years and now several Zeiss lenses, the Zeiss glass needs far less work in Photoshop than any other lenses.

The colours and contrast are exceptional, and the images require very little sharpening.

That would be a good way to reword it. Let's cut the spam in the topic now.
