What kind of mood do you get in when you strap on the 50, 1.8 or 1.4

My 24-70 is out at canon for repair and while using that lens my main shots are usually at 24 and 70. Just put on my 50 1.4 and I feel very limited again.

What are some of your favorite things to shoot with these lenses and could you post some examples? I'm kinda in a rut right now not really feelign inspired, inspire me potn I know you guys can, you all are amazing photographers.

I hated using the 50mm because it is so weak at f/1.4, and lately I have been thinking if I really need it taking up space in my bag... I got it out and for some reason the FL and vignette are quiet pleasing to me. I'd say for you, it is time for a photo walk. Go to a lake, beach, park, city... and start shooting. See what you come up with. Just gives you a good excuse to get out and shoot :)

Thats what I was thinking of doing today, I just moved into a new house and it's in a much more urban enviorment then I'm used to, lots of old historic buildings and such but ugh, I'd much rather shoot those as wide as possible. I kinda feel with the 50 on the only shots worth taking are people and weird obscure stuff you can get close in on to get some great bokeh.
