Nick Thanks a Ton

You have answered my questions. Looks like it locked in servo for you perfectly. Low light and the processional, looks like no flash ??

Did it hit with ease or did you experience any struggles at all. Compared to you know what:lol:, were you able to tell at this point. Looks like you had a fair amount of light and didn't have to get up to 3200 or higher on the processional and exit shots.

Yeah, there was good amount of lighting. The problem with the "you know what" (:)) is that it doesn't matter what amount of light there was, it had a problem locking on to the dress, for instance, due to lack of contrast. So even though I was at f2.8 1/160 ISO1600, I had a very difficult time locking on in Servo mode. The 5D3 had no issues. I pointed the camera at the subject and it locked on.

HDR? Were those shot in camera HDR, out of camera HDR or just straight?

There is no HDR at all - took it in mRAW, developed in Lightroom 4.1 and then some other corrections in Photoshop CS 5.

The 2 stop difference seems to be from JPEG output. I have to test out the in-camera NR to see how it does. I mean, it does as good a job as my NR workflow, I might reconsider.

I think most of the shots I posted was with the 70-200 f2.8 IS MKII.

I'd like to see this as well. I didn't think it would be worth testing but if the JPG show that much of an improvement, it may be worth taking a look at. If you do, let us know!

f'n awesome!

I love the 5th from bottom, with the extreme DOF, it looks so good it looks fake. Awesome shots, amazing you got close enough with a 70-200 for those shots.

Awesome shots. So do you think the 5d3 helped at all with these shots vs your previous bodies?

Keep up the great work.
