hey guys, IDK but I remember somebody saying that whenever you do the zoom review on the LCD the image looks soft as if you are back/front focusing. I just can't remember who said it. I took bunch of pictures today and everything looks soft once you start zooming in. I'm reviewing all of it on LR4 and they're sharp. I hope somebody can chime in..

Also, how many of you with a 70-200 mkii had to microadjust their lens?

Nice shot, yes the 5d3 does tame the beast a bit doesn't it? The 50l will live on my 5d3.

The 85L2's AF speed is not fast enough, even though I feel that it is slightly faster with the 5D3 compared to 5D2. This lens has heavy elements and was not designed to be a sports lens. The battery grip might be able to push it a little more.

The shots of my dog were taken with a 24-105L

only 1d series bodies will boost the focus speed even more due to Higher voltage of the batteries. This is based off the Canon rep Chuck Westfalls comments.

Are you guys also noticing front focus with the 50l when using outer points?

I had to MA mine a bit. It was front focusing on distant objects...

Yes, along with 35L is a known "issue", mostly due to lens curvature and has nothing to do with the 5D3.
