Absolutely outstanding shots here and I really love the photo by Agent Provocateur!

Perhaps I do want a 5D3 after all!

Like WARAT i'm just looking out for you, but I would be okay with keeping your 5D3 for a while just to remove temptation. This is only from the kindness of my heart of course;):lol:

kidding aside, great photos, but like WARAT said its best to take breaks than injure yourself further :)

I definitely appreciate it and your both right. I was about to leave the house this morning with the 70-200 and then took everyone's advice and left the 70-200 at home and put the much lighter 100l on. Baby steps.

Pic was taken on the train with my iphone a few moments ago heading into Chicago. :)

Believe it or not, if the doc ordered me not to use the camera for several weeks, I'd fed x it to you overnight. And I'm dead serious. Yeah I'm nuts, I admit it.

Why not slap a nifty fifty in there to make it the perfect walkaround camera. :)

I'm actually looking forward to the new 28mm f/2.8 IS lens coming out next month. Would be a really light compact setup with 4 stop IS making the f/2.8 give the shutter speed of a f/0.7...or at least that's how I look at it.

I desperately need a wide angle lens. Thinking about the 16-35mm. But the damn thing is so expensive. To pay off the 5D III before the financing kicks in, I might have to sell the 70-200 and then buy it back.

Depends how much u paid for the 70-200. I got mine for a steal price and selling it will gain me more but in the end If I buy it back it will be more expensive.

I find the 35 or 50 wide enough for street stuff. But then again I'm in texas so narrow for me is still wide for some. Lol
