Got my new Canon 40mm 2.8 pancake today. While I was messing with it, I saw my cat playing with this field mouse so I rescued it.

Not really tested it properly as the weather turned for the worse (no surprise in the UK) but initial thought are that it's pretty good. It's tiny. Looks silly on my 1D3 :-)
It's tiny. The AF is really quiet. Bokeh looks quite nice.
Bought it as a walk around lens for my holidays on days where I don't want loads of stuff with me. Think it's going to be fantastic for that.
