A foggy afternoon in Nelson...but work goes on at the port.

Wow! That's one of your best shots to date. Very unique.

That place still look like Seattle. I know, I say that every time I comment on your shots.

Exactly. I would assume anything regarding style was on purpose. Who wants to see life as it actually is? Isn't that reason we process?

+1. Reminds me of when people would complain about people who "photoshop/process" their images and think getting it all "right" in the camera is godly.

I'm sure its a style thing, but if my 5DIII made images that looked like they were pulled from the developer with muddy shadows and highlights I'd send it to CPS for repair or recalibration. :-)

Can it be assumed you never shot film and worked in a darkroom?

Looks like he went for that look and did a great job!

For those who don't know, Max (or MondayShift as we know him here) happens to be a painter as well. So how I see it, his artistic instincts while processing produce an outcome a few notches up than that produced by a lot many of us here.

Thank you very much!

Yes there are certain similarities beween Nelson and Seattle, but the sad truth is that you could fit most of Nelson into your airport boundary!;):D
