idsurfer Cream of the Crop More info | David Arbogast wrote in post #14743920 The facial expression, the golden light, the rich color, and the exposure: very nice! I can't decide if I like the "through-the-leaves" framing, on the one hand it's pretty cool, but on the other my brain wants to shove them out of the way as a distraction. Regardless, on the whole, I really like the shot. Wonderful expression. ![]() Thanks David! I agree about the leaves. I like to have a little foreground to give perspective, but this was a bit much. I would like to push them away as well. But you dont' get a lot of "do overs" with the kidos! This is where the 5D3's amazing AF comes in handy. BTW, I love you scenic shots lately. sharad.medhavi wrote in post #14743931 David, You missed mentioning the perfect focus and amazing clarity and detail ![]() idsurfer, Which lens did you use? The exif data says 50mm f/? Thanks you as well Sharad. You have really been putting up some strong stuff these days. Such rich colors. Very "mondayshifty" if you will in the processing. I love it. (that is both a compliment to you and Max as well) Cory
