Speaking of auto focus, I was messing around with the 50mm 1.8 today which is known for its slow and inaccurate AF and it was nailing it!! I was getting action shots of my dog catching a frisbee without even trying!!

First thoughts are; high ISO on still lifes look great, real world not quite as good, AF the 61 point and selection option are great however the outer set is not cross type points and function very poorly in low light on low contrast subjects, if you move one row in those points nail focus quickly in low light, metering seems much better, auto WB is still pretty poor. I'm bumbed that Lightroom 4 does not support the MK 3 and even with the DNG conversion you are left with limited editing. Although I like the dual card slots I don't like the new grip (much thicker) That's all I have so far. What sorts of "limited editing"? 5D III, 24-105mm f/4 L, 135mm f/2 L, 70-200mm f/4 IS L, 580EX II

On the T2i there was an ISO button that when pressed quickly called up the menu on-screen to change ISO levels. I noted there is an ISO button on the Mark III in the same spot, but it doesnt take me to anything. So the only way Ive found to switch ISO is to go through the Quick Menu. Can someone explain to me if there is a designated button somewhere and I'm missing it, OR is it possible to assign the MF-B (multi-fuction button?) to take me to the ISO page immediately? On another note - still playing with it, but I can't figure out how to set it to take RAW + Jpeg. I can toggle between the JPEG file size options, and the RAW options are above it, but I don't know how to move up to it, since both the joystick and the wheel seem fixed on moving horizontally only on that page. Sorry if these sound like ridiculously easy questions, I just thought Id try here before hunting in the manual :P the big jump from the old Rebel menu system to the Pro menu's. My Flickr
