From what I can tell there was about a two month wait from the time the 7d was released and Adobe's RAW support.

Only about 7 weeks to go...

Download the Adobe raw beta - It supports the 5D3
Thats what i'm using

Anyone know how I can import my raw files into apples Aperture?
It says unsupported format, so I assume we're waiting on apple to release their support but is there anything I cn do in the meantime?

Does Aperture support DNG format? If so, that's your best bet or use JPG.

5D3 AND ISF? Wtf!

You have clacky shoes, btw. :-)

How about this? ;)

I got the camera about an hour before this and just had it in pretty much automatic settings so the lighting is off.

FPS looks like its holding up to the task too. I wish the buffer was a little bigger when shooting RAW or and/or it would clear faster...

I have yet to get a real CF card for the camera.. but I am wondering. with the 1000x UDMA7 cards, you can get 18 shot burst.. that is pretty good. what is interesting is that shooting in MRAW or SRAW gets fewer shots, as I guess the processor is spending time reducing the pixel count. so I am going to gather it may be a processor limitation and not the memory throughput.

18 shots really? Did u read this somewhere? Sounds like a need to upgrade my 400x lexar pro.

If u have any info on this I'd like to read it.

What version of the converter do you have? The CR2 files from the 5DIII aren't recognized by the version of the DNG converter I got a couple of months ago.

Really! It must be the SD card that's slowing me down. I'll take it out and give it a shot. Thanks for the info.

Thanks

I figure once a prerelease of a camera body is out, Adobe finds a way to get one and start working.
