21 frames is quite solid, but I wonder how often that's obtainable in real use. More detail in the scene means larger files means lower shots in the buffer. Same with using high ISO and noise--more noise = bigger files.

I took out the SD card and just used my Lexar Pro 400X 8GB card and was only able to get 16 frames on all of 3 tries. For kicks I went to large jpg and I stopped at 74 photos...

So I guess that 16 is good enough for me, that's almost three full seconds at 6 fps. 90% of what I do is landscape anyway.

I love it, they fixed so many practical issues the 5d2 and 1ds3 had for me.
IQ is also improved by at least 1 stop in high ISO performance but I cant tell for DR yet. Although it seems that my real estate shots are cleaner after I apply alot of fill light in ACR compared to 1ds.

Naa wasn't me. I took these in Ennis about 30 miles south of Dallas. I live a few miles from JC Penney though down 121. I was wondering if their bluebonnets were out yet.

Did a test shoot today... All of these photos are shot with the 85L. This thing can focus in near total darkness. It struggled a bit in some backlit shots and on dark colors in the shadows, but it was very impressive. I used AI servo and a range of outer cross-type points. ISO 800 is VERY VERY clean.
