Just wondering. Is it possible to put the stickies at the bottom of the page, as opposed to the top? Good or bad idea?

Interested to know your reasoning here.
Would you notice things more at the bottom of your screen, especially if you have to scroll to get to it?

Its not an option the software provides and it is pointless to have them at the bottom since the purpose of them is that they are noticed by members.

Guess I'm different than most people, as I tend to want to ignore them, thus they are an impediment towards reading the latest thread. A question to moderators. Do you ever get rid of a sticky? If not, then there will come a time when the entire first page is nothing but stickies. Would that be a sticky situation?:)

Yes, we do, when they cease to be of value. Typical examples are "Just Announced: NEW CANIKON D-0708D". We will roll up several related items if a list gets too long, as well. But ignoring stickies is never a good idea.
