I love being able to use lightroom 4 to color correct videos as I find it easier to work with that than sony vegas pro 11.

The problem is, I cant get the files exported from lightroom to work good with vegas. Some files work ok (The short ones) but the longer videos shut down the program when trying to import it.

I managed to convert the files to avi but sony wont play avi's either! So can someone point me to a good converter to turn it into a format sony can read easily like m2ts or something similar?

I'm not trying to pay to a lot either, but it does not have to be free. Thanks

Check this software out:

That might help you. Good luck!

I've used "handbrake" and "super" in the past with pretty good results.

Which OS? I use Smart Converter on OS X and it works great for loads of different formats.

I'm using windows 7. But the link provided did the trick. I am now able to edit the Lightroom files in Sony Vegas!:D

Some are better then others so with a little research the decision can come down to flipping a coin. I use AVS the most but DVDFAB also works fine & im sure the Snowfox Total Video converter likewise.
