S100 has a bit of a front bump, unlike the S90 and S95. We haven't heard so much about the Franiec grip from the S100 crowd as we did from the S90/S95 people..

Thanks.
His grip on the G9 transformed that camera for me. (I have nerve damage both hands, and have to be careful. Drop stuff, or burn myself, or...

Boosts the likelihood I'll get one to replace the SX230 . . .

It took them nearly 6 months to get a review out? The s105 may be out in 7 months

I wonder how it's like going from a 5DII to an s100...

I have hard time composing shots properly via LCD :), but otherwise it's a fine little camera.
It's awesome in auto-WB department. One thing I noticed it lacks a bit of color/contrast compred to 5D2 in daylight shots. Probably have to dig into some settings.

hahaha that cat was living dangerously that day.

Quite the opposite! It was such a serene and quiet place (incredibly rare for Korea!) that a cat could easily chill on a road and not be afraid of becoming roadkill :D Not far from this is the FIRST place I have ever been to in Korea (I've been here for over a year) where it was perfectly quiet...no cars, no machinery running, people yelling, etc...it was blissful (I took a video of it with the S100, I'll try and post it on this forum, I guess it's appropriate) :)

Heh, the sensor is still tiny compared to a 5D mkII, so of course the IQ is going to be a lot better. Of course, the 5D2 hardly fits in most pockets....
