Hey guys,
i came across this site via this thread:

was amazed at the help you guys give on this site :D

I have 600D/t3i and plan to shoot in nightclub and dark environments. i will be getting a 50mm 1.8 lens to start of with but my main issue is lighting. i have seen the 160 LED light panel that attaches to the camera but then i noticed the LED ring flash/light.

The ring light i am looking at, the Meike fc100 ring flash, seems to be bright enough for a nice continuous lighting source. i'm leaning towards the ring light cause it might be able to suit my filming and photography needs in one product.

Now to the question. Ring light for video? or just stick to the 160 LED light panel?
thanks guys ^_^

You'll get better results using a light panel, especially when filming in a club.

uses a 160 panel iirc

From what I understood while researching them, they're mostly used as a light filler during the day

@Sickone, What lens do you use? and do you use a lens hood?
Thanks in advance... I'm learning via the school of hard knocks.

Is that what you use when shooting in the club at night?
