CyberSync receiver issue

Does anyone else have problems with their cord that connects to the wireless receiver. For me the cord is just incredibly loose and any slight movement will cause it to slip out. Do I have a bad cord or is this just a common issue?

What are you hooking your cybersync to? I'm guessing its the pc sync on the 580. Those tend to be a pretty unreliable system. Try a gentle sqeeze of the cable end, deforming it slightly out of round might make it slightly more secure.

oh ok, thats a good idea...unless I mess it up lol. So do they make better cords that fit a little more snug?

The standard PC connector is notoriously unreliable.
But the screwlock PC connector is rock-solid.

I use this adapter from FlashZebra for all my flashes, including the ones with a sync port.

Slide the flash into the adapter and lock it down. The cord is built in so it cannot get lost. It is only a little more than the cable that was linked to earlier. I use CyberSyncs too.
