What a great trip I took over 900 photos and have slowly been going through them. Going this time of year was great as it was not crowded and we had some varied weather to see. Some great suggestions from the board about what to do. We went to Jerome, Grand Canyon Page and back to Sedona. We did the Pink jeep tour and some hiking. I missed the Verde canyon RR and we missed stopping for the wild flowers in the desert. I did get to do upper antelope but ran out of time for Lower and the other slot canyons. Some nice time with SWMBO and nice dinners. I rate the vacaton 9.9 here are some pictures from Sedona keeping it to 8 will be a challange so I w ill break the pictures into sedona, the canyon and Page. The rest are in my link to zenfoloio. These area seem to be one of the most photographed area in the country and are all a bit cliched however it does not diminish the fun of being there. The area is truly beautiful and the picture no matter how well by any photographer or artist do not do it justice. It is on the bullet list for a reason I hope my picture do a tiny bit of justice

I think we went to all the same places. I was there 2 weeks ago.

Beautiful captures.

Thanks I appreciated your suggestions. Antelope was harder to shoot then I anticipated. David

Really beautiful series here.I like the 3rd shot it shows the vastness of the area and the breaking thru soft light is wonderful. The last one has the feel of impending doom up in those peaks.

You have some absolutely gorgeous shots here! Great job!

Sometimes we need another week of vacation after vacation just to get through our photos! ;)

Hey David, I just paid a visit to your website so I could see all the places you were able to visit while here in the beautiful Southwest. You did well! You definately made your rounds! Saw some of the most beautiful country here. I think you did a great job, especially since you are unfamiliar with the area. There are so many places to photograph here in the Southwest that you could spend a lifetime chasing the ultimate photograph. I hope you have other opportunities to make it out again and again. My pursuit is relativly new here, but definately in the chase.

Thanks to all, Arizona is wonderful I felt like I was scratching the surface of it all. I would love to go to the Southern part of the state to that desert as well as monument valley. I also missed the spring bloom of the wildflowers in the desert. sigh
