other picture on Zenfolio and see my other post for Sedona Antelope and Grand-canyon. I got to horseshoe bend intending to get up early the next day and shot at sunrise but we arrived from the Grandcanyon sidetrip right around sunset and my wife said go for it. Unfortunately it was quite crowded with photographers who had staked out some territory and were not very understanding on the other hand If I was there earlier I do not know what I would do. The spot left near the edge on my 10-22 had a point and despite being one inch from the edge was in my frame. so it goes. The dam on the other hand was all mine I got up at sunrise and went down to the viewing area. I was surprised there was no stairs so I scrambled down a bit of a cliff took some pictures and I went up saw the stairs. I am glad I did not drop my camera so I took two sets I think the first view point was better but I earned it by climbing

Thanks for the kind words. I do have to say that pictures of Horseshoe bend do not do it justice compared with standing there. number three is the legal spot to take photos btw

#3 is awesome. Was there and the Grand Canyon 7 yrs ago, your photos "may not do it justice" but damn close!
