A few weeks back I had a chickadee series, hope you enjoy my junco series too!

Nice pictures. Really like the background bokeh and sharp birds.

Great series, Jo. Almost look like they've been "fluffed and buffed". By the way, I also know them as snowbirds-you got some "junk" heading your way? lol.

Sweet Oregon Junco series Jo... all are excellent, but that last image is special; a beautiful pose, clarity and detail, a gorgeous composition.

Thanks Craig, I had the light directly shining to the junco and the branches and increasing the shutter speed still exposes the subject correctly while dimming the background, I like the effect :)

Very, very pretty Juncos jodelak. I love seeing yours because all I ever get is the slate-colored version; yours have great flanking colors.
The guy in the 1st image doesn't look like he's missed too many meals, or maybe it was cold - :). I really like the portraits in #2 and #6. Both have great focus, crispness, and eye contact. I'll have to say that the novelty of the dark background in #6 makes it my winner. Well done!
