The spelling police will tell you it's "lens", but I don't think it's worth losing sleep over.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

85 1.2, it's reputation speaks for itself and it has a price to show it. Definitely a must have in most professional portrait bags.

Nikon 35mm 1.8 in canon form... cheap light solution is what I want, and only 200 bucks.

I know you said the lens must exist...but you also said my ideal lens. So I am going to merge both and say a 30mm f1.4 Macro.

17-200mm f2.8 + f/4L IS....

My favorite glass is the 17-200mm f/2.8 + f/4L IS. No such animal, well there might as well be. I shoot with these two lenses on a pair of 1.6x cameras and have the 17-200mm focal range at my finger tips with a constant f/2.8 in the mid-range zoom, IS in all focal lengths and great image quality as well as fast and accurate AF at all focal lengths.

Too heavy? Two cameras and these two lenses weigh about the same as one camera plus the 17-55mm f/2.8 IS and the 70-200mm f/2.8L Series lens and I don't miss the 55-70mm gap one bit...

I did write too much! Sorry but two lenses needed a bit more explanation than a single lens...
