I don't generally use the silver one in a studio setup as it tend to be harsh with many hot spots. Mola came with PAD (Perforated Aluminum Disk) which adds a bit of punch to the subjects and that seems to work for me.

Mar 21, 2012 15:41 | #12 Yes, I have the original AB, a Setti, and soon an Euro but I'm always curious to see how the other 22" perform side by side. Good to know about the grid, my next purchase will be the Demi and I was wondering about that. 5D2 | 50mm f1.4 USM | 85mm f1.8 USM | 135mm f/2L

Demi is newer and whiter, but Euro was an old stock I picked up locally and it's noticeably yellower. Looks the Demi listed and sold by Adoram on eBay seem to have quite a yellow tint too. How old is your Setti and do you notice any yellowing of the paint?

Mar 21, 2012 16:08 | #14 As far as I know they are not white, they are "off white" and done so on purpose, mine is like 3 years old and has almost the same color as the original AB. 5D2 | 50mm f1.4 USM | 85mm f1.8 USM | 135mm f/2L

I don't mind the slight warming, but somehow I feel I'm getting a bit of green cast and while it's eaily correctable, it still is a nuisance especially in a mixed lighting setup.
