Something I'm not entirely happy with. Even with cunning editing I'm still not 100% happy with all of the images. It's such a pain in the bum when you get to the end of rendering out a sequence (4 seconds takes about 12 hours) to discover something you had missed in the test stills.........still if it was easy anyone could do it ;-)a

I'm not convinced this is going anywhere but the girls will be back in something else.

I know it's not real but lighting, framing, camera movement etc. are all the same so the only difference to using the camera is I don't have to get out of my seat. ;-)a The talent is certainly just as frustrating most of the time.

Cheers Ben. I've actually been doing 3D in CAD on and off for 20 years, but functionality between systems has become so good that much of what I do for manufacturers can now be readily transferred into animation.

I do have the advantage that I'm not reliant on 3rd party content so can choose whether I buy assets or produce them myself. Standard content, such as cars, people, standard props and the like are often cheaper to buy than build from scratch. It is nice to include some bespoke content though.

The real black art is knowing what to use for what function as you can often get to the end result via several alternate routes.

LOL. Indeed so. Apparently some people still use Stanley Yankie spiral drivers to put in screws.
