Do a search in this forum for "Copper Hill" - its a small kit you can buy that includes everything you need. I don't have the 5DII (waiting on the 5DIII) .. but I've done this many times on my 30D and I assume the "process" is the same ... also, if you do a search re: Sensor Cleaning you'll see lots of words of wisdom that might take some of the fear out of you ... the other option of course is to find a Canon location. Not sure, but they MAY do it for Free for you .. or minimal cost.

You'll likely go through a half dozen or more cleaning "pads" & 1/2 hour of effort before you get the hang of it. Just take your time until you get comfortable. The Sensor is tougher than we tend to believe. Might try a search in YouTube - I think there are some videos out there that show you how it's done. Oh, and a Rocket Blower might be a good investment - you can try to use that 1st to blow off any dust ... then if THAT doesn't work, go for the CopperHill cleaning pad. Lastly, I can't remember if I bought it separately or it came as part of the KIT I got -- the "Magnifier with Light" is a nice investment. You can see the "dirt" very easily with it which allows you to clean, check it, and clean again as necessary -- rather than having to put your lens back on to "check". Let us know how it goes.

I went for the 'full-meal-deal' when I ordered my Copper hill kit. I added the magnifer with the light, the sensor brush, extra pec-pads, rocket blower, lens tissue, etc
Overkill is my way of doing things I guess.

ps. it's not really overkill for the extras I got, they are all good products.

I user Copper Hill and have had nothing but success when cleaning the sensor on my 7D. I highly recommend their sensor cleaning products.

Three companies that have been around for a while and sell a variety of products are Photographic Solutions (they produce the Eclipse fluid, sensor swabs, and then other stuff), CopperHill, again with an assortment of items, and then VisibleDust, again with an assortment of items.

I've always used the Eclipse fluid and swabs for "wet cleaning". But, a "must" for your kit is a blower such as the Giotto Rocket Blower, which can clear out loose dust. And then there are other "dry cleaning" methods -- I have a Sensor Brush from Visible Dust, some folks get great results by something called a Sensor Pen.

Do some reading and you will see that it really is a DIY operation, in fact, numerous folks here have found that forking out $50-$60 for a tech to do it is a waste because typically the techs don't want to take the time to clean, examine, clean again, examine, and repeat if necessary!
