I went up the Sibley Preserve yesterday to shoot some Golden Eagles that were hanging out,
but they disappeared to the south while I watched. Oh well, I did get some good shots of
a pair Wrentits. Here are a few of the better ones:

Lovely shots you took there. Eagles are all well and good but a bit of variety does no harm :)

Thanks Sharon, sliceotime, Mark, Kris, Mitch, and Pete.

I followed these guys through the brush for a while before I was able to get an unobstucted
view. Glad I stayed with them. Here's a tight crop to show some more face detail.

They are fascinating looking little birds George and they should be proud to be featured in such wonderful captures!
Love the attitudes and postures w/the tail kind of stealing the show. I think the first and second are the best to my eye, and very difficult to pick a fav from those 2. Beautiful work!

Excellent set of shots of this cute little guy. Great detail especially using the x2 tc with a nice bg that compliments the bird. Very nice!

Thanks Steve and Mike. I was lucky with the background, I was mainly try to get a clear shot
as they hopped around among the bushes. Then when they did stop at a good location, This one
danced around on the branch for a little over a minute, allowing me to line up some good shots.
